What a great period piece - Thanks for posting this.
I'm a huge Northern Soul fan - did you know Northern Soul is the basis for Saturday Night Fever film? A short piece on the scene by Nick Cohn was worked up into the film script. Working class kids doing manual jobs and dressing up and doing extravagant dances to soul/disco music at the weekends
